This product combines two of the most well-studied probiotic strains for IBS: L. plantarum 299v and L. rhamnosus GG. A recent double-blind, placebo-controlled trial in adults with IBS showed that a 4-wk treatment with 10B cfu L. plantarum 299v significantly reduced the severity of abdominal pain and bloating, compared to placebo.
